This Fourth of July is probably looking a bit different than any others in the past due to COVID-19. This is 100% Cassidy’s favorite holiday. Cassidy’s whole life, the morning is spent going to an amazing hot air balloon festival (as shown in the feature photo above), a family BBQ in the afternoon typically with lots of yard games, and then a concert and firework show in the evening. Not to mention the fact that by the time the sun is going down, the weather is as perfect as it gets!
Although this year is a little bit different, it’s still the best time to be grateful for the country that we live in. Along with the many freedoms that we may not be able to experience if we were living in other places. We will be the first to admit that this is not a perfect country by any means. Each of us can play a unique part in adding to the environment around us.
Ultimately on this holiday, we urge everyone of our followers to BE KIND. Looks for ways to help those around you. Invite everyone to your game nights and bbq’s. Our world could do with a bit more kindness and love. And remember to keep a safe, healthy distance during your parties. We want fireworks to be the only thing blowing up. Not COVID cases…
